National Geographic Society’s Explorer-in-Residence Wade Davis called on architect and designer Travis Price to construct his very own personal at-home workspace in Washington, DC.
This seems like fun at first, but after about a week I’d get tired of climbing a ladder every damn time I needed a book.

I love the natural light and simplicity of it all. The birdcage-like basket, the lemon tree, the ladder night stand all somehow work, though I would never think to bring them all together.
