Window Nook (via freshome)
I want this nook so much. Plenty of space to lie down or sit or read, lots of light, plenty of storage for books and things.
I want those door dividers, but I’d be afraid that I’d break them.

National Geographic Society’s Explorer-in-Residence Wade Davis called on architect and designer Travis Price to construct his very own personal at-home workspace in Washington, DC.
This seems like fun at first, but after about a week I’d get tired of climbing a ladder every damn time I needed a book.

Can I please have this? Except I’d probably choose a more comfy chair or a sofa for occasionally napping. Everything else is perfect.
The sidebar, the cart, and the table and chairs are all nice, but that floor and balcony/view have me sold.

I love the natural light and simplicity of it all. The birdcage-like basket, the lemon tree, the ladder night stand all somehow work, though I would never think to bring them all together.
Slide out filing cabinet / bookshelves? Wonderful. This should be pretty much standard for all staircases.
